In fiscal 2005, ADL had record sales revenue of $105M and total assets of $32.3M. Our production generated cash income to P.E.I. dairy producers in excess of $55 million, and our 250 employees received salaries in excess of $8 million. As P.E.I.'s share of the national production quota, ADL processes about 90 million liters, or 2% of the Canadian total. Nearly 95% of our PEI milk production is processed in our five milk processing facilities.

Our quality products are trusted in kitchens throughout Prince Edward Island, and this vote of confidence has provided the stability on which we base our growth. But the population of Prince Edward Island is small, and it has not grown relative to the growth in ADL's production. In 2005, the Island market accounted for 20% of ADL's sales. Most of our products are shipped to buyers in other Canadian provinces and territories under the ADL label, and many other private and store-brand labels.

Prince Edward Island is blessed with lush pastures and fertile soil, and our dairy producers are highly skilled and dedicated to continuous improvement. ADL's traditional methods use natural aging (we don't add enzymes to artificially speed aging), but our centralized processing facilities use the latest equipment and the most efficient systems available. This allows us to produce the highest quality dairy products at competitive prices...in any market.
