  BUTTER Since buying the O'Leary butter factory in 1955, ADL's quality butter has become a tradition on many Island tables. We separate the rich cream from our fresh milk, pasteurize the cream and churn it in large vats. The liquid that remains after churning (buttermilk) is removed, just the right amount of salt added and then the solid butter is 'worked' to attain the correct moisture content. The finished butter is cut, wrapped and distributed throughout P.E.I. and Atlantic Canada. Take some ADL butter home today and start your very own tradition!
